Google Launches Nano Banana 2 Image Generation Model in Arab Countries via Gemini and Search

Google has officially rolled out its new image generation model, Nano Banana 2, in Arab countries. Users can access it through the Google Gemini app on both web and mobile platforms, as well as via Google Search using the “Google Lens” and “AI Mode” features, according to an official press release from the company.

Faster Image Generation and Streamlined Workflow

Google classifies Nano Banana 2 under the Flash category, emphasizing high-speed performance. The model allows users to generate images faster, make quick edits, and repeat outputs easily within the same workflow. Additionally, some features previously reserved for premium users are now available to a wider audience.

Integration of Gemini Knowledge and Web Search

The model leverages Google’s Gemini knowledge base combined with real-time information and images from web search. This integration enables highly accurate rendering of specific subjects and realistic concepts, providing users with precise visual outputs.

Improved Text Handling and Translation within Images

Nano Banana 2 allows for clear, readable text to be embedded directly within images, which is useful for marketing materials, greeting cards, and social media posts. Users can also translate text inside the image into multiple languages, making it easier to share content globally.

Consistency Across Characters and Elements

The model supports maintaining facial consistency for up to five characters within a single image sequence and can handle up to 14 elements in one scene. This reduces variation across multiple outputs, making it ideal for creating visually cohesive image sets.

Output Resolution up to 4K with Full Aspect Control

Nano Banana 2 provides flexible resolution options, ranging from 512 pixels up to 4K, along with control over aspect ratios. This enables versatile applications such as social media content, desktop wallpapers, or promotional materials. Google also highlights enhanced lighting and sharper details while maintaining fast performance.

Availability for Users and Developers

The rollout of Nano Banana 2 begins today across Google Gemini (web and app) and Google Search via Google Lens and AI Mode.
For developers, the model is available in preview mode through AI Studio and via the Gemini API.

Google continues to be a leading global technology company, developing a wide range of digital products and services, including Google Search, the Gemini platform, and developer tools such as AI Studio and the Gemini API.

In an increasingly digital ecosystem — stretching from  Arabic websites and specialized blogs, alongside insights drawn from Egypt-based online stores, Kuwait stores, and vitamin e-commerce platforms. personal account security is no longer optional.
